Since starting up 1970's 1980's 1990's 2000's

1990 January   Approval for incorporation is granted and the company is incorporated as KBS Co., Ltd.
1991 July   The Seoul branch is established.
July   Apple Macintosh computers are introduced.
1992 April
  The Mac Department is established.
April   The versatility of the Mac enables the company to complete the block copy for a Thai conversation text with Japanese content.
April   The company's in-house journal Nalgae is launched.
1993 September   A mac multilingual imagesetter is introduced.
1994 July   The KBS Multilingual Printing System is featured in Japan's largest business newspaper, Nippon Keizai Shimbun.
October   An article about the above system also appears in the monthly publication Keizaikai.
December   Asahi Shimbun, one of the most widely circulated newspapers in Japan, prints a feature article on the KBS Multilingual Printing System and the president of KBS, Ko In-Bong.
1995 February   The company is involved with the simultaneous printing of Medical Passport, a booklet published by Osaka Prefecture, in seven languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Thai and Tagalog.
June   The company contributes to work on a Thai and Vietnamese-language conversation book to be published by KDD.
July   The company publishes the 13th issue of its in-house journal Nalgae and begins using photos taken with a video camera.
September   The company introduces its second Mac multilingual multi-script imagesetter.
December   The Internet Team is established.
1996 January   The KBS corporate Website is launched.
April   The “kbsjapan.com” domain name is acquired.
1997 January   The company begins to work on a Japanese edition of the Chemin Ilbo newspaper via the Internet.
April   Fuji Film's Lux Setter 5600, a high-quality film output multi-script imagesetter, is introduced, giving the company the capability to produce full-bleed B2 multilingual output. A multilingual color printer is also introduced.
December   The company contracts with OCN for a dedicated line providing an always-on 24-hour Internet connection.
1998 January   The company marks its 30th anniversary.
July   The KBS corporate Website is relaunched.
August   A Multilingual Windows-based DTP system is introduced. Several pages of the in-house publication Nalgae are composed and printed on this system.
September   The Windows DTP Team is established.
1999 February   鳳@bong's page”, personal website of president Ko In-bong (then), now in operation.
